Cboe Global Markets - The Exchange for the World Stage
As Creative Director, I was proud to help lead the evolution of Cboe Global Markets’ brand refresh in 2023—a defining moment that marked the company’s transformation from a U.S.-centric exchange to a globally recognized financial powerhouse. The refreshed identity was more than a visual update—it was a strategic repositioning that reflected Cboe’s expanding influence, modern infrastructure, and future-forward mindset.

Visually, we moved away from legacy cues toward a bold, contemporary design system that reflects both stability and momentum. We introduced a richer, more sophisticated color palette, grounded in deep blues and energized by vibrant greens, to convey trust, intelligence, and growth. The new sans-serif typography system delivered clarity and consistency across all digital and physical touch points, while a suite of geometric patterns and modular graphic elements subtly referenced Cboe’s global network and the precision of its market operations.

We applied this identity across every major brand channel—from digital platforms and corporate communications to large-scale event environments and product campaigns. The brand voice was also refined to be confident, intelligent, and inclusive, supporting Cboe’s efforts to speak to a broader, global audience without losing its institutional strength.

Ultimately, the rebrand served as a creative and strategic reset—a way to align our visual language with Cboe’s ambitions and ensure that the brand showed up in the world as powerfully as the technology and markets it supports.

At the heart of the rebrand was the introduction of the new tagline, “The Exchange for the World Stage.” This statement became our creative north star, signaling Cboe’s growing role in shaping global markets while reinforcing our commitment to access, transparency, and innovation
